Our response to NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care Trust Quality Account

Every year, we are invited to comment on the Quality Accounts of key NHS organisations in Worcestershire, drawing on feedback from local people and our independent insight into health services.

This response relates to the 2025/26 Quality Account of Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust and draws on feedback, experiences and concerns shared by local patients, service users and carers.

While recognising progress made by the Trust in areas such as service development, patient experience and collaboration, our response highlights several issues that continue to be raised through public feedback. These include access to children's and community mental health services, waiting times, communication with patients and carers, co-production, organisational culture, health inequalities, and support for people navigating services. We encourage a continued focus on measurable improvements and ensuring patient and carer voices remain central to service development and delivery.
