This report is a summary of the work carried out by Worcestershire County Council for Voluntary Youth Services (WCVYS) for Healthwatch Worcestershire as part of the Young People and Parental Engagement Service.

This Urgent Care survey was to increase the understanding of why patients attend Accident and Emergency Departments (A&E) and Minor Injury Units (MIUs) in Worcestershire.

Healthwatch Worcestershire is undertaking a long term piece of work to find out the views of people who are homeless about health and social care services.

It can be difficult to raise an issue or make a complaint if you do not know how to do it or do not feel that you will be listened to. This can be even more difficult for people with a learning disability.

One of the issues consistently raised with Healthwatch Worcestershire has been that deaf people and their families were likely to experience difficulties accessing GP services.
