New Survey on Serious Mental Illness Care in Worcestershire

Help us understand the experiences of people living with Severe Mental Illness in Worcestershire. Our latest survey follows on from previous work on mental health, this time focusing on finding out the experiences of people in Worcestershire living with a serious and enduring mental health condition (SMI). We are also interested in hearing how carers are impacted and if they are receiving support.

Following on from our report last year on people’s experiences of accessing mental health and wellbeing services, we are now carrying out a new piece of work focused on people affected by severe mental illness (SMI). This includes conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and psychosis.

Who do we want to take the survey?

We want to hear from people living with SMI and people caring for someone with SMI

What do we hope to learn?

This is a broad questionnaire asking for people's experiences of health and care services across Worcestershire.

What will we do with the responses?

Analysis of the survey will help us to:
Understand what is working well and identify any gaps or challenges for people in getting support or care.
We will report back, providing an independent voice to ensure people’s experiences are heard by decision makers to help shape future services.

Your answers will help us to ensure your voice is heard.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
