Woodrow Medical Centre, Redditch – Patient Information
Redditch and Bromsgrove Clinical Commissioning Group have prepared some frequently asked questions and answers around the changes happening to Woodrow Medical Centre.
They have also issued the following information for patients:
“Following urgent action by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the current providers of primary care at Woodrow Medical Centre in Redditch are unable to continue providing clinical services, with immediate effect from 21st March 2018. It is the CCG’s priority concern to protect the safety and welfare of patients.
The CCG has worked with local doctors to ensure an interim clinical team is in place, who will continue to provide services for patients at the Woodrow Medical Centre premises. What this means is that patients will be able to access care from a healthcare professional in the same building in Woodrow as normal, including getting prescriptions.
Patients are advised to still contact the practice on the same contact details. We are aiming to put in place a patient helpline and further information will be shared soon.”
