Worcester News Article – 12th June
On Thursday 29th June we will be holding our Annual Conference at Sixways Stadium in Worcester. This is an opportunity for local people to come along and hear about our work and hold local providers and commissioners to account. We will be presenting our 2016-17 Annual Report and discussing our achievements over the last year. A panel of local health and social care leaders will be joining us to answer questions from those attending. So, to come along and have your say please contact us on 01386 550 264 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place! More information can be found on our website www.healthwatchworcestershire.co.uk
On Sunday 4th June we attended the Spring into Summer event at Springfield Park in Kidderminster. Organised by the Friends of Springfield Park this fantastic event provided loads of fee activities for children and families. That, and the live entertainment, kept the smiles on people’s faces despite the lack of sunshine. We spoke with over 140 people about local health and social care services and also tested our new Survey about NHS 111 (please see below).
We want to know about awareness of the NHS 111 service in Worcestershire and hear your feedback about using and promoting the service. We are keen to hear from everyone, not just those who have used the service. So please visit our website and take part online at www.healthwatchworcestershire.co.uk. We will also be visiting groups and events across Worcestershire with the survey and to talk to people about NHS 111. Do contact us if you would like us to come and visit your group or would like us to send you paper copies of the survey.
