We are asking patients and their carers about their experiences of being discharged from hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Coronavirus has changed how we live our life and how services run in lots of ways. To make room for the sudden need for more beds, the NHS changed the way it discharged people from hospital.

But what was your experience?

If you live in Worcestershire and have been in hospital since March 2020 we would like to hear from you. Please take 10 minutes to complete our Survey’s.

Patient Survey

If you are an unpaid (relative/friend/neighbour) or paid carer of someone who has been in hospital during this time we would also like to hear your view of hospital discharge.

Carer Survey

Were you, or someone you care for, discharged from Worcestershire Royal Hospital or the Alexandra Hospital during November 2020?

  • Did you/they get support at home after you/they left hospital in November 2020?
  • Did you/they leave the Royal or the Alex and go to a Community Hospital or Care Home?

If so we would like to talk to you and/or to your carer (relative/friend/neighbour or paid carer).
This would involve spending between 30 – 45 minutes speaking with us on a video call or over the telephone. These calls are confidential. See the Information Sheet for further details.
