- Our job is to ensure that the public, patients and users of health and social care services in Worcestershire have a say in how services are planned and delivered.
- One of the ways we can do this is by engaging with service users, patients and carers; using our statutory power to “Enter and View” publicly funded health and social care premises for adults.
- By doing this we can see for ourselves how services are being provided and talk to staff and, most importantly, patients and service users and carers to hear what they think.
Healthwatch Worcestershire Authorised Representatives
Healthwatch Worcestershire Authorised Representatives are ordinary people who carry out Enter and Views visits. They are all interested in giving people a say in the services they receive. They receive special training to equip them with the skills to carry out Enter and View visits. They will be part of Enter and View visit teams, led by Healthwatch Worcestershire staff or Directors. They also have an Advanced Level check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
